Committee for Safe and Secure Elections

The Committee for Safe and Secure Elections features cross-partisan experts in election administration and law enforcement who aim to support policies and practices that protect election workers and voters from violence, threats, and intimidation. The Committee also works to build relationships and trust between election officials and law enforcement to better equip both to prevent and respond to threats and violence against voters and election workers. It is supported by the Brennan Center for Justice, the Elections Group, Protect Democracy and the R Street Institute.

Safer from Harm Coalition

The Safer from Harm Coalition brings together a diverse network of organizations and individuals dedicated to advancing all forms of harm reduction in public policy. The R Street Institute believes that health policy grounded in harm reduction has the potential to drastically reduce the negative consequences associated with various behaviors, both legal and illegal. Therefore, we embrace and promote all areas of harm reduction, including: cannabis, tobacco, alcohol, drugs and sexual health.

Spending Tracker

Members of Congress take countless votes every year, many of which add new spending.

Spending Tracker automatically aggregates the new spending contained in each bill, according to official estimates, to create each member of Congress’s total “number” based on what they have voted for.
